Heres a little tip for anyone who is looking for the 'soft' look to their images. Assuming your using photoshop ----------------------------- 1. Open your render 2. Duplicate the layer twice so you have 3 layers (All the same) 3. Delete the very bottom layer (or background layer). This will allow you to adjust the opacity of both layers. 4. Add a Gaussian Blur filter to the bottom of the two remaining layers (Use a setting of around 4-5) 5. Now click on the top layer and change the layer mode to either overlay, screen, or whichever layer setting you feel gives you the softness you are looking for. 6. Now you will have a soft image but you will have to play around with the opacity levels of both layers, and also adjust the colour balence to get you perfect image. This is just a very rough way of creating soft images that I have written on the fly. If you would like to check my gallery out and view some of the postwork i have applied to my own imagery then please feel free. http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=paulwillocks Also if you have any questions at all just IM me.
