Hello Nickedshield, Well that really helped :) I started with the default PPP scene with dork, I brought in the fireCORE from prop library, then with it selected brought in the matching light library item, then I used the drop down for Figure 1 Lights>fireLIGHT_1 and selected that, used ctrl+i and set the parent and then changed the selection to Figure 1 Candle_1 and all the fire parts are moving independant of dork. I then set up a more complex scene and repeated the steps. This time for some reason, the fireCORE had to be parented to the Candle_1 prop as well as the fireLIGHT_1 being parented to the fireCORE. I dont know why this extra step was necessary, but once I did it, the prop moves fine and all other figures are retaining thier positions. Thanks a lot!! Logan
