I have downloaded your file and have looked on it. (It would take really too long to render, also I cannot try that on my poor P II-300 128 RAM) But... maybe this helps. Your pumpkin is made from toruses. When you do so, you should GROUP your objects and NEVER use BOOLEAN UNION on this kind of objects. Boolean union uses a lot of memory and also slows down render time. Boolean union is only to use with glass or other transparent material, also you will not see the inner joints between one object and the other by transparency when you make an union. All your objects are animated !! Did you know that ? This takes lots of memory also. If you don't want your objects to be animated, select them and then change STANDARD to NOT ANIMATED in the MOUVEMENT folder at top of the World Browser. If this is not a solution, HAve you tried the following : DEFRAG your HD Have a look in START-->PROGRAM-->MS-DOS and type MEM then ENTER to see how much memory is free for use. You must have atleast 576 KB free. If not, read Windows's 89 Help file about missing memory. As I'm not a specialist in Computers that's the only thing I know you could try first. If your problem don't find a solution, ask at our e-group http://www.onelist.com/community/vuedesprit From over 100 members there may be one who knows to help you better. :-) ATleast, If you absolutely want a pumpkin but cannot render yours, I can send you one ready for use I found on the web.
