As long as digital recording has been out, they still have not come up with something to get that sterile sound out, and warm things up. Analog is still the best for recording vocals I like to use a couple of the older samplers for warming things up a bit. I picked up a Mini-Moog at a garage sale, for $30. Man, did my jaw drop when I saw that. I don't think they knew what they were selling.
