I checked my other computer (the one with Poser on it), and the settings were the same. I'm really beginning to believe I'm having memory problems. That would explain the long render times. If I'm not mistaking, 1000 kilobytes make a MB. If this is the case then, I'm only using a little over 10 percent of my RAM. The default setting in Divx on my other computer seems to work fine. Considering that my computer is showing 148,000 kilobytes of RAM, I would think that is my problem. It's funny that I did not catch this earlier. When I seen the error message, I thought I should check. Hopefully new hardware will find the RAM and recalculate.
