Seriously, like Tyger_purr said, get Mozilla or Firefox. So far, about 3 or 4 vulnerabilities have been found in Mozilla, and all were patched within HOURS of discovery. Internet Explorer is chock full of security holes just waiting for illegitimate programmers to take advantage of, and users will continue to get burned everytime a website decides to plant spyware on their system. Aside from the security, Mozilla/Firefox is also much more enjoyable to use in general.
