While I agree that they have separated d'esprite and Pro into separate product lines if they release an upgrade for d'esprite that adds new features that Pro doesn't have they create a real issue for anyone who has Pro but upgraded from d'esprite. Do I upgrade d'esprite or wait for the features in Pro? Do I see any reduction in my upgrade price for Pro later for having upgraded d'esprite? Do I want to spend out to upgrade both anyway? Since Pro became stable on my machine I havn't done anything in d'esprite. Does d'esprite become in some ways more professional than Pro? If d'esprite gets global illumination, a better plant editor, a particle system or any one of a hundred extra features I can think of then the Pro version is below the level of d'esprite and I can see many Pro users calling from an upgrade ASAP. I've moved to the Pro line and personally I'd prefer to stick with one line of the two product lines. Hopefully someone in the marketing department at e-on has thought this through and we will see an announcement that clarifies this along with the feature list.
