This one? "Mr. Herczog, This email is to offer you a position with ClanCore Design Group. We are a game development company currently producing the PC title "Starsiege: 2845". Our website is www.clancore.net . I invite you to browse the entire site, but I would specifically suggest looking at our media gallery for the project: go to the Starsiege: 2845 section of the page and then click the thumbnail image on the left side of the new page. CCDG is a relatively new company that began as a group of volunteers who wanted to create a sequel to the game "Starsiege" (the company who produced Starsiege, a branch of Vivendi Universal, did not wish to fund a sequel), and as such we can offer no monetary compensation for your participation. However, our game has received much press coverage in the gaming industry, and upon completion VU will almost certainly distribute the game as widely as any of their other titles. I say "almost certainly" because the final decision is up to them. If they decide to not distribute the game, they will at least allow it to be downloaded from the internet. Our hope is that CCDG will be launched into a position to be paid for future ventures, but at the very least everyone involved in the production of Starsiege: 2845 will have an impressive addition to their resumes. Since our company is comprised of volunteers, everyone's participation is strictly part time, while they juggle full time jobs and family/social lives. Most of our members have never met face to face. However, I believe that after browsing through our gallery and the rest of our website, you will agree that despite the fact that our staff members are not being paid, the game is as professional as any on the market. The specific position I am offering is as a skinner for our 3D models. We are fortunate to have a good supply of volunteers skilled with various modeling programs, but finding people who can create skins of the quality we desire is a difficult task. After looking through your website, I think that you could do well in duplicating the look we have with our models. It is also possible to participate in some other capacities, such as an artist for our compendium (storyline and technical manual), or with anything else where your skills would be of use. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. I'll look forward to hearing back from you!" It can very well be legit, but you can never be to sure. I always get suspicious when someone wants me to work for free. :)
