Actually...I have difficulties with some large 3ds imports into Vue....in obj format they are 6MB+ in 3ds they r 2mb....but Vue refuses to import it...and more often than not..it begins the import and then crashes a third of the way in.... :( Very sad, because the model was very very nice. There is a brilliant 'free' aztech city model floating on the net..in dxf format (3109kb) .....and vue refuses point blank to read it or import...error msg is illegal operation....and refuses to continue from there....converted to OBJ format, file size is 6899kbs..just dont understand why it wont import it. sigh oh well, plenty of other models we can use I guess.
