close......but not there yet.I give up till pumeco releases PR, or ornlu gives up his "wax" texture he posted a bit ago.All the test renders are getting in the way of modeling freebies soo.... If you guys want the scene file just say so and I'll put it up.

i don't get the message of the picture... and what's with the head?

The point is the texture. I believe he's trying to create a translucent skin texture.

Trying to do a skin texture with the dte alone is a toughie.

Twisted, would you mind to explaining how you do this, or is it maybe easier 4 you to post a file with that texture applied on a sphere, I would like to play with settings in it ! :)
