I'm sure you can. I've never fooled with anything inside the mouth. You'd have to scale your view and magnet objects appropriately. Your working area would be considerably 'busier', I think. The first thing I'd do if working on teeth would be to use existing lip morphs to move them out of the way, or I suppose you could work with groups instead if that suits you.
