Sleep...hehe, yeah, I try to fit some in at least once or twice a week. ;) I began a tutorial last year for building with Vue's Boolean operations. Never completed it because I got wrapped up in other things. However, this may be the perfect time for me to return to it, especially since it has a Christmas-theme and that time is coming around again! Vue's modeling options are fantastic. You can build very simple items, as you've found. You can also take it as far as you like to make them more complex. It all depends on what you need/want. The only drawback on the more complex items is that the polygon count is higher, naturally. I try to do stuff towards the middle or simple end just to keep the file sizes down. Now I'm rambling, heh!
