Try disabling hyperthreading on the P4 machine. There was a post about this earlier. Apparently Vue 4 regular doesn't like hyperthreading (it actually slows down rendering) but Vue 4 Pro works well with it. The graphics card has nothing to do with rendering, only displaying the viewports.
