Bob, you're right. Without the Mac plugin, GIFs, PCTs, and a bunch of other file types vanish. You can no longer import or export them from Poser.

But I think it's fair trade, for me. The file types I use most often - PSD, JPG, PNG, and TIF - all still work. For now, I will rename the Mac plugin, just in case I find I need it in the future. Losing those file types is worth the speed increase, for me. I always postwork my images, anyway, if only to adjust them for filesize vs. quality issues. So if I really need a GIF, Photoshop can do it.
