Actually I have posts in quite a few different places, and the comments, whether helpful or not run from overwhelmingly praising, to sort of mediocre, to downright hostile....so I usually take them with a grain of salt...... However, I was amused to see an explaination of why the the lichen texture I used on the wall in my first image was elongated and 'soft', you see it was the absolute sharpness of the table edge (should have been chamfered because table edges, or all edges in the real world are rounded) actually made the rest of the image, particularly that wall area look soft and elongated........hmmmmm, I'll have to mull that one over.....did give me a chuckle though...:) I may post another image to see what I can learn about realism in 3D....:)
