Obviously this is an excellent tip, and it seems to make a difference for a lot of people. But I have to agree with Jim Burton. Both Poser 4 and 5 have always opened quickly on my machine (10secs and 30 secs respectively), and I've never had any problem with slow libraries. I have a similar machine to Jim's (P4 2.6/512RAM) and I also have a pretty small Runtime. I keep al the spare Runtime stuff elsewhere. I've never had Quicktime or any other unneccessary apps installed. If I don't need it, I don't install it. Simple as that. mac
