amd 2600 -> int 3200 and you wonder why you don't get a similar improvement using software that is 99.999999% cpu dependent?
amd 2600 equals int 2600 in most cases and as many amd cpu works well with graphics software, so your big step to 3200 wasn't as big as you thought, despite all the Intel hype. rule of thumb -> don't replace you cpu unless you double the speed.
