howdy folks,

I tried the "fix" & it definetly speeds up library loads (thanx swamp :-). However while it's true that GIF files no longer work on models (although I can import a GIF as a background pic), I must have a weird version of Poser because pct files (reflection maps) still show up in the menus, load, & render just fine. addendum: GIFs still work as transmaps, just not as tex/bum maps
