Quick answer: You Can't. Long Answer: You Can't. Informative Answer: It's rare that a file format such as OBJ (what I assume you are using) has the texture maps built in. Instead the OBJ comes with a MTL file that lets the program (carrara, in this case) know where to put the maps, and what groups everything is in. I'm not completely sure, but I think a few formats actually DO let you do this. Try 3ds. It's a good format to use any way. Otherwise, just slam all the maps back on it in Carrara's Texture room!
