Was talking about the original problem, nahie, which I understood to be Vue 4.20.02 for Radelat. I did read and understand your post on Vue Pro. We all appreciate your digging out the info for Vue Pro, and for posting the comparative render results. I think the point I was trying to expand on - maybe explain further is that Vue 4, like many programs, does seem to see the HT chip as multiple processors. Well, perhaps the real point I was trying to make is that this doesn't mean that Vue 4 is "poorly written." It just means that the program was written before the HT chips came out, and that e-on has chosen to not write new code for Vue 4 to specifically distinguish and handle the HT chips. At least to this point. Whether you regard this decision as a sign of totally crapy software or I regard it as a decision that is extremely difficult for a company to make that is caught in the chip wars most certainly is a matter of personal opinion. I respect yours. (Oh, and I believe the Athlon XPs, which is what Radelat referred to, have a cache bigger than 256K. In fact, that's one of their two their main distinguishing features.)
