So far bitmap output is what people want most, so I'll try to figure out something. I like to go AI myself and rasterize using mayura (www.mayura.com) $40 nagware that can import AI and export bitmap. The advantage is that you can go to 300 DPI for printing. It should be doing the same thing as PSP. GIMP (www.gimp.org) can do AI to bitmap as well and its free.
