Yeah but that model's uber easy to make. Cyl, select all polys, inset, delete, select all, extrusion, subdivide. offset two copies. Use the original cyl as glass, sky background, box in the foreground. render.. bam instant art.

gotcha..hmm..done something similar with a sphere for a sci-fi dome..not sure which package he's talkin' about, but it should work in Wings 3d.

ysvry, I didn't say that.. I just said that this piece could be done in a matter of minutes not hours. It might lookg good, but I'm more impressed with the sky than the model. Which is more than likely not the artists. Therefore, because of the reasons stated above, I don't think that this is very good 'art'. It's like rendering chrome spheres over water. Sure it looks good, is it art? I wouldn't say so. Someone not in the know might look at it and believe it was the most beautiful piece of art he has ever seen. But once you show the audience how the magic is done... it doesn't seem like anything special...
