I have 'Initialize activeX scripts' disabled. I'm running ZA and Antivir AV software. I did happen to click on his 'Junk' folder which is password protected and of course you get an error message when you dismiss the password dialog but I have no idea why downloads of the freestuff wouldn't work. I'd use a download manager since there're several files you'll probably want to get anyway. hands down, Net Transport is the best free (or probably paid) one I've seen - see link. OK I just tried adding freewebs.com to the restricted zone where everything is locked down and I still have no problems downloading the files... Mind you I'm trmporarily on AOHell so this is their customized version of IE and no telling what is going on under the hood. I've never had any major problems with IE over the years though so I may be atypical. I have Firefox and it has a couple of nice features but overall, not enough to make me switch :-)"Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance." - H. L. Mencken
