The problem with coming up with a better energy source than oil is wealth and greed. The mega companies that have a monopoly on the resource market are powerful. . .and enjoy their status by controlling the political arenas throughout the world. Ask yourself this question. . .If you invented a magnetic automotive engine that would eliminate the use of gasoline, would it's development be welcomed by our current president. . .whose wealth is derived from oil? I think that you would wind up deep sixed with concrete shoes.
