It's hard for a non-native speaker of any language to catch the nuances of any given native language. In order to put the best flavor into one's writing, stick to what you know best. There are many highly qualified translatorswho can translate after and best capture what you intended based both on your dialogue and your graphics. I suggest you stick to German, allow for non-German "special effects" (sounds) in your artwork, then go for translation.
