Subject: What do you think of Poser 5 ?

I recommend Poser 5 for several reasons:

  1. It's a good solid app now with all the service releases.
  2. It's much more powerful and can produce better results than P4.
  3. If you have any interest in 3D outside of creating just still images, P5 is a good introduction software to animation that can translate to other apps as well (ie., dynamic hair, cloth, and animation-capable node materials).

The only drawback is that it doesn't have network rendering or point lights, but neither does P4 for that matter. ;-)
