I imagine it does get discouraging - especially when you put a lot of time and energy into someithing and get little or no feedback in return. But don't think your efforts are not appreciated. We often get caught up in our own little rut and don't show it like we should, but folks like me are greatly indebted to you, and those like you, who have such talent and are so generous in sharing your efforts with us.
