How can I make round array of a pattern or brush etc, is it possible? Like the example above.

Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to make an action. Time consuming the first time out, but the only thing I can think of. Create the first pattern or brush, duplicate the layer, rotate the layer X degrees, duplicate that layer, rotate it X degrees, etc until you complete the 360, then merge the layers that were involved. If you do this once and record it into an action, the next time will be all set up. Any other answer, I would be interested to hear myself. Never to old to learn more. :) ~ Rich

You can take a short-cut in this action by first doing a 180 degrees rotation, merge, then a 90 deg. rotation and merge, then a 45degrees and so on, until you have refined the pattern to what you want. You might need to attach a filled other layer to the layer with the line, to make sure it rotates around the middle of the circle, instead of its own middle (by clicking in front of the layers and a little chain symbol appears). I would use Illustrator for this (that can do step-and-repeat), but if you do not have that luxury then I think this is the best solution.

I know it's like weeks later, but another way would be if you have Illustrator to do your array in there (it's a snap to do a rotate transformation by x # of degrees, then just duplicate the transform), open that file in PS and define that as a brush.... :m

i think if you make any brush stoke, on a new layer, you can duplicate it, rotate (transform) this layer (... you can move the first point (centre point) of where it rotates...) duplicate and then repeat transformation. continue to repeat transform, duplicate layer untill it comes full circle. then flatten. see if that does it.
