I agree with being against crop as a way to "look like a macro" although I respect everybody's options and "techniques" even if the resize ratios are the same as an "untouched" photo. I just use the crop tool to slightly cut some unwanted elements in a photo (never to make believe what I did not shoot). I also use cropping to to build thumbs. Kind regards. Carlos.
