That is really the best method based upon what can be done today. Think about how Hollywood does most of their shots- in water tanks and warehouse-studios. If you plan out shots, you can have nice animated Bryce backgrounds- rolling clouds etc., and still have full Poser foreground and character control. It actually works and looks pretty good if you match up the lighting, etc. I have made very large-scale landscape sets in Poser, so it CAN be done...
