Aye, it all sound exciting, but let me be the first to nay-say OpenGL when it comes to actual implementation. I know it's the "industry standard" for "graphic design" acceleration, but let's face the cold, hard facts. OpenGL will never outperform Direct X. If I want my Geforce to be involved in my graphic design, I have to physically put it on my scanner, scan the card, and use some filters on it to make it do anything. It's a waste of time for them to add more OpenGL options. Cooler stuff, like collision detection, or perhaps joint OpenGL/Direct X acceleration would be much, much cooler. I'll just holdout until Bryce 6 comes out.
