Well I quit my day job as a programmer and do poser erotica full time now. It pays a little less right now due to the current work load but now that I can do it full time that will change. Anyone can find a naked pic of a girl in a temple. Plus posing is absolute key. Facial expressions are a must and details are very important. There is far less of it and, when done right, looks way better than the plastic doll stuff done in anime. But to each their own. But to answer your question, yes you can make money but you gotta push people's buttons to do it.
