Bryce primitives (spheres, cubes, metaballs, etc.) cannot be exported. Period. Terrains and lattices can be exported. Hopefully this is something that will be remedied in the next version. In the meantime, why not try out Wings3D? Its totally free, easy to use, and can import and export a whack of file types. Did I mention it is free? I've been using it for a while now, including for my paying projects. Oh yeah, and its free. :) Hope this helps.
