Here's what I usually do when using 2 Vicky 3's: Morph, dress & pose each figure separately and save them in a Figure file I created called "My Characters," usually as D&P (dressed & posed) and D&P. Set up the scene I want, import each character, adjust any poses if needed (esp. if they're touching), set the lighting and render. I've never had a problem with the two "interferring" with each other when I do it like this.
