well i am running 2003. and it not only protects my recycle bin, but also my registry. but it could have been one of my other security software too that i shut down. But i wasn't going to shut down one at a time, install and then try it. so i shut everything down. but doing some research, i did fond sometimes nortons, mainly 2003-04 willprotect the registry so sometimes even legal software doesnt add anything to it.
