Do you remember those stories about goblins and borrowers and other wee folk snitching lost socks, spools of thread, and granpa's reading glasses? (well, maybe not the glasses) I'm quite positive that the gremlins which prey on mechanical devices fatten themselves on our lost data. How many attachments drop off in the aether? How many emails never get forwarded? Even with packet-checking, little bits get siphoned off. (OK, now the gremlin has a bent straw.) My cat had nothing to do with the image which didn't stay attached, but that .jpg is decorationg some gremlin's cranny at this very minute. Well, it's as logical as any other reason! Carolly
