i heard modeling in clay is easy and fun, can be messy though :) :^P Hey, Folypro is right - Metasequioia is a lovely modeller, and free. It has great metaballs in the pro version. You can export as obj etc. from the Pro version, but it's not possible to register it outside of Japan. But.....if you download both Pro and free versions, you can work around that, and export as dxf which imports into Bryce. The metaballs are great - lotsa different shapes, can be converted to mesh, and then have the polys reduced.
