A cool open source renderer can be found at the link.It takes .obj meshes and renders them just like a comic or grapic novel.Looks real fun, I just came across it.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!! INKULATOR!! it's a perfect funny italian word! inculatore with a k added makes it a sort of german sado-maso device! LOL LOL LOL I want that program!!
