Dang, got $15 voucher at DAZ and their server is down. Any of you insiders have a phone number???

draculaz ( ) posted Sun, 17 October 2004 at 9:48 AM

We have DAZ insiders? Drac (I think harassed the last one out the door)

Nukeboy ( ) posted Sun, 17 October 2004 at 9:54 AM

Drac, you have to realize that there is a secret underground of DAZ supporters. And, as hard as it may be to comprehend, there are folks, right here in the Bryce Forum, that use gasp Poser... The enemy is everywhere and in everything!

I use Poser,..........what's the old saying,....."keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer" !? Poser is OK for animals and the occasional humanoid. To quote drac, "I see dead poser people".

I'd like to know how to use my $10 Daz voucher, time limit will probably run out before I figure out how. I couldn't find any instructions anywhere sigh

try these phone numbers. phone: 801-495-1777 toll-free 800-267-5170

FuzzyShadows ( ) posted Sun, 17 October 2004 at 12:01 PM

Ang25, the voucher will automatically be applied to your order on checkout. The daz system keeps up with it for ya. I believe the only time you need to provide a code for discounts is for gift certificates and coupons.

They have always been very prompt to take care of issues for me. phone: 801-495-1777 toll-free 800-267-5170 Monday - Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM MST

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

Yeah i can't complain about them, only took 3 days for them to sort out my order. Takes Renderosity staff an hour to sort out something, wonder who cares for the members better :)

To use the voucher just buy something and it will be automatically deducted from your total....=) I got bunches of stuff.....

Try getting in this way ^^

Vouchers count against 100% of the cost of "Daz original" stuff (when you look at the product description, it'll tell you if its daz original or not), or about 50% of the cost of a brokered item (once again, you'll see a "brokered for" thingy if its a brokered item) up to the value of your voucher. I think the 10$ vouchers only last 14 days (normal vouchers last for 30 days)... I think... unless they changed that recently.

Ok thanks, so am I getting this right, I have to spend money in order to save money? Its not like I can get something that costs $10 and not owe anything right? Which means I have to give them a credit card and such. Hmmm, Maybe I'll be passing this time round. I haven't gotten Daz to work as well as I'd like yet. Thanks for the link.

the 10$ voucher will pay for any 10$ daz original item (in which case you get something for free), but in general, yes, you need to pay money to save money - i.e. for a 16$ non daz original thing, you'd pay 8 and the voucher would pay 8.

EDIT - have a vague memory of getting a free mosquito or an ant model from them for a 10$ voucher last year.

Or you can buy any 1.99 PC stuff up to $10. and you owe nothing, you can spend less and the balance stays on your account until you buy something again.
