-Bryce "Lightning" (along with Bryce proper) is installed on the main PC. -The new Duron 1100 PC, which does NOT have Lightning installed on it, executes the Lightning program from the main PC. -The Duron 1100 can now act like it DOES have Lighting installed on it, and can be used for network rendering. *Meaning, no install of "Lightning" really needed on any PC's you want to use for network rendering.
