I have to confirm Little Dragon's observation ... I use two hard drives for my virtual memory. The second one is older, and makes a distinctive sound when the page file is being written to. At a certain point during long P5 sessions, I can hear the second drive kicking in. I just hope memory allocation and release is improved in P6, and assume it will be since this has been a matter of complaint for a long time. Another workaround would be to save your scene when it's ready for render, reboot the comp, then open Poser and render before doing anything else. I find this helps after long P5 sessions or after having done several renders in a row. I'm a Vue enthusiast too, but I think it's important that we try to find solutions and workarounds within P5 when discussing its shortcomings in this forum. After all, as already indicated, many don't want another app or can't afford one. I truly do appreciate your positive enthusiasm, Veritas, but hopefully you can see why some would rather make the best of Poser than buy another app for its rendering advantages over Poser's. Especially since the advent of SR4, P5 really is an amazing app in spite of the glitches.
