I may be completely wrong, but, hair props are always going to use transparency, whether they're dynamic or not. that's part of what goes into giving hair the realistic effects. if no transparency is used in its creation, then the hair is going to look "plastic", like those people from those old energizer commercials. keep in mind, a green screen background is going to eventually have some form of scenery added to it, which would remove the green bleed-through from any transparent material and replace it with parts of that scenery.
