Sometimes I do kinda feel that experts in Bryce have an 'anyone could do that, how dare you try to charge for it' attitude, that actually impacts badly on Bryce itself. So anyone hoping to use it for commercial objects or textures, or make money from their expertise, are attacked for daring to even think of it. Y'all know whereof I speak ;^) It's a great thrill, if you've never used 3d before, to find that you can point and click and make a 3d scene. That's most people's introduction to 3d. The easier the introduction, the faster most people learn, and start experimenting on their own. I think a starter pack of objects would go down very well, and a starter pack of scenes (not sure if Daz are doing that already?). I lived for years on royalties from paving systems that I designed. That's using my expertise in mould design and concrete casting to make money. In The Real World that's considered a normal thing to do, I think the same should apply in Bryce. So my advice to Lyrra is to go for it. And think 'newbies want to point and click'!!
