The licence pays for the BBC, so they can waste it on executive holidays and making mostly cack programs. Still least theres no "commercial breaks" every 30 seconds like in the US. You don't need a licence if your over 75, but by then you can't see or hear to good anyhow. Just ask the Bryster.
