I remember you talking about this before, its just wrong, lol. With most cable companies here, you can purchase your own box and remote control, and some do, because the cable companies charge you like $2-$4 for both cable box and the remote each, each motnh. But, if something goes wrong with your box or remote its up to you to financially fix it. If you use the Cable companies box and remote, and something goes wrong, you just get a brand new one brought by. Here in Los Angeles, my cable tv and cable internet are $50 each, and we don't have any great pay/movie channels. But, we DO have BBCAmerica, and G4/TechTV, so that in itself makes me happy.
