Properties works for me. But I only counted my own. If this were an actual competition or official challenge then I'd have to count them all before I would feel qualified to judge or vote. If you have the band width for a big download, I always reccomend OpenOffice as a very good free alternative to Microsoft Word. It has a document Properties tool too. Funny thing about modern word processors and Properties is that most publisher's submissions guidelines still seem to think they don't exist. Most publisher guidelines I've checked out still tell you to use some convoluted formaula to determine word count. Something like choose ten random pages and count the words on each then multiply by the number of pages, while standing on one foot and reciting Beowulf. Go figure. jon
