Hi Konan, There has to be enough interest within the community to support a forum for the software. You can contact Spike@renderosity.com (Forum/Moderator Manager). Clint

Do other members feel the need for this forum? Software looks cool, but if we don't have any members that use it...... Just want to gauge it

This program allows you to control mesh in ways that DAZ and other mesh makers charge you extra for, or do not sell at all.
Want more control of your mesh? Buy this.
Ever wanted to do something with a figure but could not because DAZ does not support it? Buy this tool.
Searched all over for a morph no one has, (or dares to make?) Buy this product.
Want command over your project or figure. Buy this.
I bought this product and now have control over what I want and need.
Dave is a guy with big ears and a responsive business attitude. He hears you and he responds.
What's that worth to you?
I should add, this program is designed for EASY use.

Bonni, how would you rate it in terms of ease of use, etc? I haven't done much with the 2.0 version yet, but I will say I found the previous version really inutitive and easy to use. It didn't take long to wrap my brain around the workflow, although it takes longer to develop the finesse to use it well, hehe (that's the case with all things, of course). I've only used the latest version a couple of times while trying to figure out a texture map I just could not visualize. I painted some lines on it and then saved it and pulled it into Photoshop to see where I needed to put the bits I was trying to place. Very handy, I thought. bonni

This software is already great and I imagine it has a great potential. I am really interested to use it more and in a better way. The author is working hard to improve day by day his product from customers feedbacks. I guess that a forum would more than helpful to go even further into the knowledge and improvment/development of this suite.
I don't know if anyone knows this but you can try BlackSmith free. Fully functional, just the ability to save what you do till you get the key is disabled. Just go to Daves site listed above. (Oh by the way Dave the check you sent me for the first testimony bounced buddy. What's up???) Hehe I would love to see a forum for BlackSmith. Nothing like sharing brains and talent.
It looks interesting, I tried it (for free) but found it wouldn't import OBJ files predictably. It seemed to have problems with anything other than a single mesh. It's a small download though, so give it a try. Incidentally, you can paint directly onto objects, simultaneously making a bitmap image, with Metasequoia LE as well (though there is no documentation to tell you how, you have to figure it out yourself). m.

How would I go about (and who would I ask) starting a forum here at Renderosity for the "Blacksmith3D" software line? I think it Renderosity would be great place to host such a forum. Please advise.... Konan
