Re: translation, re-translation: There's an old(ish) apocryphal tale about an early(ish) computer programmed to translate between English and Russian (or possibly German, or Japanese, or ... depends who you hear it from..) The computer was asked (commanded) to translate the (English idiomatic) phrase: "Out of sight, out of mind". The result, after being processed into the other language, then back into English, came back as: "Blind idiot". :-)) Cheers, Diolma
