This is very sad. Lets look at what we've gained since Len first posted about Pro-Render: A LOT of heated threads, accusations, mud flinging, but still no new Bryce procedures. We've gained nothing, but we've lost nothing either. As before, this will die down and will be forgotten again and we will carry on as we were. Len, mate, we've spoken on several occasions and I'd hope you'd listen to my reasoning without discounting it. You're the only one who's lost out here. You've spent months getting pro-render ready, endured a rough time in the forum and you've finally decided to give up a package you've worked on and indeed using a program that you obviously love just because a small percentage of the voices in one forum have questioned your motives. I hate to say it, but that just sounds spiteful to me. I for one was looking forward to seeing and trying Pro-render and I'm sure even the doubters would have loved to try it. Now I'll never get the chance and do I care? yeah, but will I lose any sleep over it? No. It would have been nice to see, but on a scale of things going on in my life, it's just not that important. I hope you take this advice in the spirit in which it's intended (to save you more hassle), if you do change your mind and finish Pro-Render, wait until you can release it before posting again. If you need to bounce ideas off people, use IM to speak to the ones you know you can reason with. If you really decide you're done with it, then I wish you luck with your future projects and hope you take some of the lessons you must have learned from this with you. To Drac, sorry about the continuation of this hijack. Hope you had a good flight.
