From a Mac perspective, I only used A6 when I absolutely had to; crashes galore, funky NURBS/smoothing performance. A6 is a good modeler but has a ton if "issues". A7P is a real pleasure though. Very solid performance and the new NURBS tools are outstanding. Plus it "plugs-into" Carrara very well - If you change your Amapi model within Amapi, then back in Carrara you can simply use a menu option to update it.
